St. Patrick’s Day Parade was held this past Saturday in Brentwood and welcomed thousands of people from different Irish groups and local community organizations. Brentwood is one of the mos diverse communities in Long Island and the Irish parade has being a great tradition for many years.
Local elected officials, Bagpipers, dancers, old cars, fire engines and ambulances and police cars, community groups, local schools, and more all marched down Washington Avenue until Ross Park in Brentwood Road.
This year honored Maria J. Scott as the Grand Marshall, a long time Brentwood resident and Chief Coordinator of our committee for over 15 years.
